Have you ever noticed how fragile the connection is between your inner and outer lives?

Paperwork, procedures, pressure, and a constant parade of challenges slowly separate who you are from what you do. Then suddenly – after years in the classroom, pulpit or boardroom – you realize that your relationship to your work has changed.

At one time or another, each of us has needed to rediscover who we are in connection with the work we do in the world. That is the purpose of Courage & Renewal – North Texas. During the past decade, more than 5,000 North Texans have used our one-day and extended retreats to rekindle their passion for work and the commitment to serve. Our offerings enable participants to work with greater integrity – and to live fuller and richer lives.

We offer Circles of Trust®, programs of personal and professional renewal developed by renowned writer, educator and speaker, Parker J. Palmer and the National Center for Courage & Renewal, the national organization of which Courage & Renewal – North Texas is a local affiliate.  Our programs are guided by facilitators who have been prepared by the national Center.

Courage & Renewal – North Texas is a 501©3 non profit organization and accepts Charitable Donations to further our work.

Alumni of any offering of Courage & Renewal – North Texas, Courage in the Workplace, Center for Renewal and Wholeness in Higher Education, or the Center for Courage & Renewal are welcome at these retreats. Join this new community of practice that supports facilitators and practitioners as they take the Circle of Trust ® principles and practices into schools, congregations, organizations, businesses and communities throughout Texas. Sustaining the Courage to Serve- A Courage & Renewal® Retreat Series beginning September 30, 2013.

In this five retreat series you will meet with a cohort of 16-30 clergy from the Texas Annual Conference of the United Methodist church, who gather for quarterly retreats of three days each over a period of 18 months. This gives you a trustworthy community of peers and a continuity of deep
conversation.

Renewing the Call- Postponed to a later date.

Courage in the Workplace- A renewal program offering for your workplace, school, church or organization. We offer on-site or off-site renewal opportunities custom crafted to meet particular needs of a work-team.
