Board, Facilitators, Committee Members & Staff Retreat 2009

Board, committee members, facilitators and staff met for a day of retreat on June 12th.  Topics for reflection and discussion included: the enneagram as a way to understand the "shape" of our shadow, leadership succession, the movement model of social change, the similarities and contrasts between the work of Parker Palmer and Peter Block, the "Third Way" of doing business, and getting a start on our work for the year ahead.  Of course, a day like this also meant that relationships were deepened, laughter was shared and stories were told- all weaving the fabric of the "courage community". Thanks to all who offered their leadership to make this a fun and productive time.
