LeaderConnection for Nonprofit Leaders
We begin LeaderConnection for Nonprofit Leaders with the goal to offer executives a leadership development program designed to support them in sustaining their own resources and approach to work while contributing to the vitality of their professional and personal lives by honoring each person's diversity, gift and strengths. According to participant's of last year's LeaderConnection for Nonprofits, we achieved this goal:
I look forward eagerly—almost desperately sometimes—to Leader Connection each month. The topics are essential not only to growing professionally but personally. Shared wisdom—new deeper insights from the others participants as well as myself are helpful in philosophical/conceptual levels—what has surprised me is that I also am taking away very concrete ideas and approaches.

The sessions have been wonderful in that they have helped me gain better insight into my personal strengths, thoughts, processes, relationship building approaches, etc. All of these will help me a better leader and person in general.

As a result of nonprofit leaders response to this program, we are offering it again! LeaderConnection for Nonprofit Leaders is a meeting series for colleagues to gather and explore questions and issues of their profession as well as share stories, experiences and wisdom as a way to learn from and support each other. This program consists of a full day retreat followed by(6) two hour sessions where leaders will gather for:
- Mutual support in the task of nonprofit leadership
- Honest conversation about the challenges and opportunities related to the role
- Learning from one another and together
- Development of strong, trustworthy relationships with colleagues
- Practice of skills that enable each person to lead from a place of authenticity, integrity, courage and impact.
