Stories of Courage

The Power of Story

Its hard to over estimate the power of story because each story contains in it a kernel of truth.  And as I learn my story and share my story I began to understand more deeply the truth about myself. When there is an opportunity for me to hear the stories of others then I learn more about them and what their life is like and their story often has pieces in it that remind me of parts of my story and what is true for and about me. We began to realize that all of our stories are part of some larger story bigger than any one of us that can only be told when we come together.

Courage and Renewal North Texas has served people now for over 10 years.  What has made it work is the people!  The people who come to listen, share and seek to reconnect with who they are and what they do.  Their experiences in the journey, their stories all woven together have become the fabric of Courage and Renewal.  We wanted to share with you some of those stories so that you can understand better who we are and how you might find being a part of it helpful.
